NBA Playgrounds Switch version recieves Online update!

Coming from our friends over at Vooks, the online portion of NBA Playgrounds has finally come to the Nintendo Switch. You can read all about it below, quoting their news post about it:

“With the game now updated to 1.1.3 it now has full online play, ranked leaderboards and of course you can challenge your friends.

The patch also fixes another issue with the game, the entire shooting system. The timing for shots has been adjusted and a meter added for extra clarity.

Fifteen new players have been added to the game’s roster including Isaiah Thomas and Dennis Rodman. All fifteen new characters can be unlocked regularly through player packs, earned during the tournament or when levelling up your profile.”

Destiny 2 gets its own PS4 Pro Bundle

Playstation just announced the return of the Polar White PS4, and the first PS4 Pro in the color with the Destiny 2 Limited Edition.

It includes a Glacier White PS4 Pro with a 1TB HDD, matching DualShock 4 Wireless Controller, and of course, Destiny 2. You’ll also receive a voucher for the digital content pack which gives you access to the Expansion Pass and premium digital content.

The pricetag will cost you $450 USD, so make sure you save up before the game launches in September.

Summer Games Done Quick 2017 has ended, raising over $1,760,360 for Doctors Without Borders.

One of the best speedrunning events of the year, Summer Games Done Quick, has officially ended with just over 1.7 MILLION dollars going to Doctors Without Borders. You can find some of the VODs for the runs in this handy reddit thread. Reddit user Flyingjam suggests:

There were a lot of good runs this year. Some of the highlights include the A Link to the Past Run, and the surprisingly excellent 8 hour Final Fantasy 7 run.
