I’ve Got to Run! – Trailer & New Info!

Coming exclusively to the Nintendo Wii U eShop,

I’ve Got to Run! is a 2D platformer with procedurally generated endless runner elements. Players control Roy the Marshmellow Boy in three different modes: Endless Classic, Endless Double, and Endless Special.

PLEASE NOTE: The above trailer has blur. The final product runs at a smooth 60FPS, and does NOT have this blur.

DLC: The first piece of DLC for the game will be an additional mode: Endless Expert. This mode runs a bit faster than the fastest footage in the above trailer, yet only has a single jump. This is designed to test expert platformer players, and will be incredibly challenging. You can expect more news on the DLC after launch, as well as news on the other two incoming modes.

I’ve Got to Run! will have THREE seperate Miiverse Communities. The “General Community”, which is for everyone, the “Announcement Community” which will be used by the developer to post updates, and the “High Scores” community, which can be viewed by anyone (but only I’ve Got to Run! players can post here!) The purpose of the “High Scores” community is to provide a special location to upload and post your screenshots of high scores to compete against each other. This serves as an online leaderboard of sorts. This community will also feature a special tag, “New Record!” to help players show their new high score. With a modes as difficult as I’ve Got to Run! will have, being proud of a high score isn’t anything to laugh at!

We can’t wait to try out the game and share OUR high scores with you.
